Legend Award – Lady Champagne “The Queen of Swing”
Awarded for 30 yrs or more of distinctive dancing within their respective styles, admired and recognized by others for making a significant contribution to the legacy and preservation of their unique style of dance.

Pulse Award – DFW Swing Dance (Brigitta Baylor/Willie Starr II)
Awarded to an organization which continues to provide innovative and creative ideas in promoting and preserving the partner dance within its region, and/or city/state.

Swing Instructor Award 
Derrick Farrow “Big Smooth” & Jerry Palmer” The King of Swing”
Awarded to an innovative instructor for allegiance in promoting health and wellness through the art of swing dancing in a captivating way, serving all ages and instructing all levels.

Emerging Star Instructors Award – Terry Tucker
Awarded to a new instructor that has taught less than 5 years, attracting a large and successful student foundation based on the expertise of the instructor

Frankie Manning Performing Arts Award 
S Factor (Lashonda Campbell)
Awarded to an established dance group that has demonstrated creativity through their unique style and choreography on the dance scene, in recognition of preserving the art of dance.

Swing Dance Partner Award 
Dominique Martin & Lauren Hubbard
Awarded for a longstanding commitment as dance partners performing together for the preservation of partner dancing.

Venue Award – AEC (Arlington Entertainment Complex) 
Rena Washington
Awarded to an establishment that continuously supports the efforts of swing and urban line dance participation.

DJ Of the Year Award
DJ T – Swing Dance Studio, DJ Gentry and DJ Bolo (AEC)
Awarded for outstanding services to the dance community by providing music that compliments the crowd at dance events, demonstrating passion in the art of music while having a sociable personality with a commitment to always please the crowd.
